Mechanical Test Engineer/Technician

- Bachelors degree in a relevant Engineering field - More than three (3) years of applicable experience in a testing or research and development setting preferred - Proficiency in post-processing and documenting experimental outcomes - Familiarity with various testing types (Research & Development, Acceptance, Validation, Qualification) - Experience with strain, vibration, linear motion, static loading, and dynamic loading is preferred - Previous work with large, intricate mechanical systems is advantageous - Practical knowledge of mechanical testing principles such as force/displacement application, structural deflection, dynamic loading, vibration/impact, and environmental exposure - Awareness of common dimensional/inspection tools and motion capture technologies (e.g., Faro trackers, CMMs), even without direct operational experience - Capable of managing projects with multiple objectives and resolving conflicts - Ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks in a given work week - Exceptional writing and communication abilities - Strong commitment to safety - Experience in a minimally structured environment combining standards-based guidance with innovative problem solving - Familiarity with engineering tools including LabVIEW, SolidWorks, Jira/Confluence, and Microsoft Office 365 is preferred - High degree of trustworthiness and integrity, with a focus on open communication and respect for teamwork - Strong communication skills are essential.
