Requirements

Must:
- Over 5 years of IT support experience, ideally in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) setting. - In-depth expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V). - Proficient networking skills, including firewalls, VLANs, routing, DNS, and DHCP. - Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure, AWS, and Office 365. - Strong capabilities in advanced troubleshooting relating to hardware, software, and security. - Outstanding communication and customer service abilities. - Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or equivalent are advantageous. - Skillful in establishing rapport with clients. - Excellent critical thinking and diagnostic skills. - Professional and positive attitude. - Exceptional proficiency in clearly documenting and explaining technical processes, both verbally and in writing to non-technical audiences. - Capability to work autonomously with minimal oversight as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

- Tackle sophisticated technical problems escalated from Tier 1 support. - Deliver advanced troubleshooting for hardware, software, networking, and cloud solutions. - Oversee and support enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, and cloud frameworks. - Configure, uphold, and enhance network layouts, which includes firewalls, switches, and VPNs. - Aid in implementing security measures, such as endpoint security, identity management, and adherence to compliance. - Conduct root cause analysis to mitigate recurrent issues and elevate system dependability. - Partner with clients and internal teams to guarantee smooth IT operations. - Fortify corporate network security and swiftly address detected vulnerabilities. - Manage M365 cloud services like Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Azure AD. - Create, sustain, and enhance documentation, guides, and diagrams utilized by the IT department concerning network procedures and practices. - Accurately log incoming communications (e.g., email, voicemail, phone calls) into the ticketing system with proper prioritization. - Document all pertinent details including name, department, contact information, issue nature, troubleshooting steps, and resolution. - Use knowledge bases, FAQs, teammates, and all available resources effectively to resolve customer inquiries efficiently and effectively.
