Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching
- Experience with networking hardware from Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar
- Familiarity with firewall configuration and best practices for network security
- Experience managing Windows and Linux server environments, including server rack oversight
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Office 365 administration
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network infrastructures
- Configure and oversee routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and server racks
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and security issues
- Establish and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls
- Execute network upgrades, patching, and system enhancements with minimal downtime
- Manage and support cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and Office 365
- Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and operations teams on infrastructure initiatives
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., NIST, CMMC, ISO, SOC 2) as applicable
