Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with how various systems interact and the implications of changes across the organization.
- Extensive knowledge of ERP systems.
- Experience in SQL coding and query writing.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-resolution capabilities.
- Strong communication skills.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage the creation and maintenance of items, billing of materials, and feature options within the ERP system.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure the BOM in the ERP system aligns with design intentions and operational requirements.
- Utilize SQL to develop and enhance analytical tools/views for organizational use.
- Conduct cost validation analyses on bill of material structures.
- Participate in or lead initiatives to improve existing business systems.
- Investigate system transactions to identify issues related to BOMs, pricing, and inventory.
- Support new product development to facilitate smooth transitions between engineering, operations, and the ERP system.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to ensure feature option structures are consistent with pricing guidelines.
- Review models and prints to confirm the accuracy of BOM structures and their engineering intent.
- Document and provide training on system procedures and processes.
- Adhere to company safety policies and regulations.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
