Requirements
Must:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience in analyzing system and integration requirements
- Proficiency in Python for automation, data analysis, scripting, and system integration
- Advanced SQL skills with Microsoft SQL Server
- Programming proficiency across various languages, including but not limited to: Python, SQL, Visual Basic, .NET, XML, and HTML
- Familiarity with .NET, XML, HTML, and web-based applications
- Capability to produce and maintain technical and user documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- College diploma or university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience
- Preferred: Five or more years of experience in systems analysis, application development, or related technical roles
Responsibilities
- Analyze current business systems, workflows, and integrations to pinpoint gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with end users, department leaders, and other stakeholders to gather, document, and verify functional and technical requirements
- Define solution strategies based on gathered requirements, technical limitations, and business priorities
- Design, develop, test, and document system enhancements, custom applications, and system integrations
- Build and maintain connections between ERP systems, databases, production systems, and third-party applications
- Develop automation tools to minimize manual processes and enhance data accuracy and operational efficiency
- Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and external developers
- Test system modifications and enhancements; conduct post-implementation validation and follow-up
- Offer application and technical support to internal customers both remotely and onsite
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the IS Team Leader
