Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience, or a Masters degree in a relevant field, or equivalent education/experience
- Proficiency with disassemblers such as Ghidra, IDA Pro, or BinaryNinja for vulnerability research
- Familiarity with assembly languages like x86, x64, ARM, MIPS, PowerPC, etc.
- Experience using debuggers including WinDbg, OllyDbg, or gdb
- Knowledge of performing vulnerability research on operating systems like Android, iOS, Windows, Linux, MacOS, VxWorks, QNX, RTOSs, or other custom OSs
- Understanding of advanced exploitation techniques including ret2libc, use-after-free, and type confusion
- Awareness of exploit protection mechanisms like DEP and ASLR/NX
- Ability to program in C
- Basic understanding of network protocols
- Must be a US Citizen and willing to obtain DoD Secret clearance or higher
Responsibilities
- Engage in comprehensive vulnerability research from initial concepts
- Collaborate with a passionate team of vulnerability researchers
- Employ and develop advanced vulnerability research tools
- Analyze and debug embedded devices while brainstorming ideas in a close-knit team setting
- Utilize a combination of static and dynamic analysis methods as well as automated tools
- Continuously learn and share knowledge within the team to enhance capabilities
