Requirements
Must:
- 6+ years of experience in web application development
- Proficient in modern backend programming languages and frameworks
- Extensive experience with contemporary front-end frameworks and API technologies
- Strong communication and writing abilities
- Detail-oriented and resourceful
- Capable of producing high-quality code independently, without aid from an LLM
Responsibilities
- Implement new features and fixes across the complete software stack
- Develop a thorough understanding of our proprietary software suite, including point-of-sale, product appraisal, and inventory management systems
- Take responsibility for software quality by writing unit and integration tests and manually testing own and team members code
- Enhance the reliability and efficiency of software products
- Contribute to the improvement of our development release processes
- Help front-line teams resolve and troubleshoot bugs
- Actively participate in the Shape Up software development life cycle
- Mentor fellow team members by providing coaching and support
- Collaborate effectively, listen actively, and respect others ideas
- Share on-call responsibilities for critical software incidents when necessary
