Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in OT cybersecurity or a related discipline
- Preferred experience in supporting DoD or federal cybersecurity environments
- Hands-on familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) and OT settings
- Profound understanding of OT systems, including SCADA, DCS, PLCs, and HMIs
- Knowledge of OT communication protocols such as Modbus/TCP and DNP3
- Awareness of secure OT network architecture principles, including firewalls and IDS/IPS
- Comprehension of secure remote access solutions for OT frameworks
- Proficient in using vulnerability scanning tools like Nessus and Qualys
- Acquainted with cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST CSF
- Understanding of DoD cybersecurity mandates and configurations
- Experience with patch management and change management processes
- Ability to perform forensic analysis in OT scenarios
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Power BI, and Power Platform
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in teams
- Active DoD Secret Clearance required
- Must qualify for IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive (Tier 3) clearance
- Required certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II, ICS300 or equivalent OT/ICS cybersecurity certification
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, design, development, testing, integration, and security of OT systems
- Evaluate and apply OT cybersecurity requirements and controls
- Perform vulnerability assessments on OT/IT systems, networks, applications, and databases
- Create, maintain, and verify cybersecurity documentation and artifacts
- Oversee and track Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M), including remedial actions and timelines
- Conduct OT-specific risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies
- Facilitate DoD cybersecurity inspections and ensure environmental readiness
- Implement and fine-tune OT security monitoring solutions like IDS and anomaly detection
- Formulate and execute OT-specific incident response strategies
- Manage software and firmware updates while minimizing operational disruptions
- Prepare cybersecurity reports and trend analyses for senior leadership
- Integrate IT and OT cybersecurity practices for cohesive protections
- Offer technical advice to engineers, operators, and management
- Ensure adherence to industry and regulatory cybersecurity guidelines
- Establish automated workflows for vulnerability management and reporting
