Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience
- Proven ability to design, construct, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI
- Strong experience with Linux operating systems
- Practical experience with AWS cloud services
- Expertise in the OpenShift platform
- Proficient in scripting languages, including Bash and Python
- Advanced knowledge of GitLab for version control and collaboration
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex technical challenges
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Capacity to respond to monitoring tools, detect issues, and address problems effectively
- Active Secret clearance with eligibility to apply for TS/SCI
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitLab CI
- Create and manage Docker images for microservices
- Oversee and troubleshoot Linux-based systems
- Implement and manage AWS cloud services and OpenShift environments
- Write and sustain scripts in Python and other scripting languages for automation tasks
- Monitor system performance and react to alerts from monitoring tools
- Diagnose and solve intricate technical issues across cloud and containerized environments
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and rectify vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance deployment processes
- Document procedures, configurations, and best practices for future reference
