Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field - Masters degree in a related discipline is preferred - Extensive experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle implementation for federal information systems - Proven leadership skills with experience managing cybersecurity or security engineering teams - Hands-on experience in system categorization, control selection, assessment, and authorization - Experience within federal law enforcement, intelligence, or high-security environments - Demonstrated ability in continuous monitoring, risk assessment, and compliance reporting - Familiarity with audit preparation, execution, and remediation processes - Active Top Secret Clearance required - Expertise in Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle - Knowledge of NIST standards and guidance (SP 800-series) - Proficiency in system categorization and impact analysis - Ability to select, tailor, and implement security controls - Experience in security control assessment and authorization (A&A) - Skilled in continuous monitoring and metrics-driven security management - Competence in cybersecurity risk analysis and mitigation - Expertise in incident response and system remediation support - Demonstrated technical leadership and team supervision abilities - Knowledge in security engineering across system and application lifecycles - Experience in audit support and compliance management - Proficiency in RMF documentation and artifact development - Strong communication skills for executive-level reporting - Experience in training, mentoring, and developing security awareness

Responsibilities

- Lead, guide, and mentor a team of security professionals supporting FBI IT systems - Manage the complete implementation of the RMF lifecycle for systems and applications - Oversee RMF preparation activities, ensuring clarity in roles, responsibilities, and risk management strategies - Direct the system categorization process based on mission impact and regulatory requirements - Supervise the selection, tailoring, and documentation of security controls in line with Bureau risk tolerance - Ensure the application of technical, operational, and management controls throughout system lifecycles - Guarantee the quality, accuracy, and completeness of all RMF-related deliverables and artifacts - Plan, execute, and document security control assessments to verify control effectiveness - Prepare authorization and risk management documentation to support executive decision-making - Oversee continuous monitoring and ongoing assessment activities, including data collection of metrics - Adapt security strategies based on monitoring outcomes to uphold compliance - Serve as the primary technical advisor for cybersecurity risk analysis, incident response, and remediation - Assist in audit preparation, execution, and follow-up remediation efforts - Provide security guidance, training, and awareness sessions for technical teams and stakeholders - Track, report, and communicate security posture, risks, and opportunities for improvement to leadership - Stay updated on RMF, NIST guidance, and cybersecurity best practices
