Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in technical support and customer service with excellent communication abilities.
- Experience using the Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Understanding of computer networking principles including DNS, LAN management, TCP/IP protocols, and administration tools like Meraki.
- Familiarity with IT support tools such as Jira for tracking and managing issues.
- Knowledge of security protocols including VPNs and firewalls to ensure secure network operations.
- Capable of analyzing issues effectively and providing timely solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server environments and configuring Group Policy Objects (GPO).
- Strong skills in desktop support procedures and knowledge of mobile device management.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical assistance for hardware and software concerns, ensuring quick resolutions for end-users.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Oversee the maintenance and management of computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Assist with network administration duties such as VPN configuration, firewall settings, and TCP/IP troubleshooting.
- Employ tools like SCCM and Active Directory for managing computers and deploying software updates.
- Address help desk requests using platforms like ServiceNow or BMC Remedy, ensuring accurate logging of all issues.
- Work collaboratively with team members on IT infrastructure projects while providing desktop support as necessary.
- Analyze system performance and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Keep documentation current regarding IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
