Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience/training
- CCNA Certification preferred
- Over 10 years of demonstrated experience in network, system, or software architecture, design, implementation, support, and evaluation of network-focused tools and services
- Highly skilled and hands-on experience with communication protocols such as TCP/IP, MBGP/BGP, OSPF, and VXLAN
- Advanced understanding and application of IT Networking best practices
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in advanced networking concepts (WiFi, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VOIP, etc.)
- Substantial experience administering core network infrastructure (SD-WAN, Edge Firewall, Route/Switch Environment, etc.)
- Significant experience managing hybrid cloud environments
- Proficient in administering on-prem VOIP phone systems, IP faxing, and cloud conferencing/meeting solutions
- Extensive knowledge of Cisco IOS/SANoS/NXOS
- Experience leading small to large projects from research to implementation
- Proficient in programming and scripting languages
Responsibilities
- Oversee network design, installation, and maintenance activities to ensure optimal availability
- Design, recommend, specify, and implement technology solutions while guiding team members during project deployments
- Conduct statistical analyses for effective capacity planning
- Lead teams in providing technical support to efficiently resolve network issues
- Maintain network connectivity for all computer workstations and provide necessary support to users
- Develop and monitor policies regarding the utilization of network resources
- Implement and manage disaster recovery and backup strategies
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements to security measures and system upgrades
- Monitor network performance to guarantee peak operation
- Create and manage network user permissions
- Test product releases to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility
- Generate technical support documentation for systems and applications
