Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Business Systems, or related field - At least one certification: MCP, MCSA, MCSD, MCSA-SQL - Current Microsoft certification for .NET & Web Application Developer - Minimum five years of experience in n-tier application development with C#, XML, and Microsoft TSQL - Proficient in MS Visual Studio: C#, TSQL, HTML 4/5, XML, XSLT, XSD, JavaScript, VBScript, .NET Framework 2.0 - 4.x, and Web Services - Experience with software version control using MS Visual Source Safe or Team Manager - Microsoft Server Administrative skills for Windows Server, SQL, IIS, and SharePoint web servers - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and technical writing abilities - Effective time management and project management skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project - Capability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 35 pounds - Programming knowledge in RPG 4 is advantageous

Responsibilities

- Follow the System Development Life Cycle to create or enhance applications - Assess user requirements and perform comprehensive system analysis - Develop designs for user approval and create programming specifications - Lead a team of programmers in code development and oversee testing phases - Ensure the accuracy of technical and user documentation - Direct ongoing maintenance efforts and conduct user training sessions - Evaluate and recommend the best programming environments for application security, compatibility, and productivity - Handle server administration and respond to change control requests - Provide technical support to users and participate in IT projects as a technical team lead - Collaborate with vendors on system integration projects - Manage QA and testing activities - Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, failures, and performance degradation - Prepare and maintain necessary documentation - Supervise junior staff in application development and server administration tasks - Provide on-call and after-hours support when needed
