Requirements

Must:
- Associate degree (AA/AS) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or a combination of education and experience - 1–2 years of experience in IT support, network support, or a similar technical position - Preferred: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification, or willingness to obtain it soon - Minimum of 2 years of experience with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office - At least 2 years of understanding networking concepts, such as TCP/IP, switches, cabling, VLANs, and Wi-Fi - A minimum of 2 years in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting workstations, printers, and networked devices - 2 or more years of experience with standard hardware and software troubleshooting techniques - 2 or more years of ability to adhere to documented procedures and escalate issues as necessary - Strong verbal and written communication abilities - Capacity to remain updated with emerging technologies relevant to our organization - Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds - Willingness to travel to branch offices and organization locations as necessary - Experience in a banking or regulated setting is a plus

Responsibilities

- Address and resolve technical inquiries and issues reported by users through various channels including ticketing systems, phone, email, chat, and in-person - Diagnose and fix hardware and software problems, including: - Windows operating system issues - Network connectivity concerns - Malfunctions of peripheral devices such as printers and scanners - Application and software errors - Guide users through troubleshooting processes and provide clear explanations of solutions - Forward complex or unresolved issues to senior IT personnel or specialized support teams while monitoring issues until resolution - Install, configure, and deploy new IT equipment, encompassing desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and other peripherals - Configure workstations to adhere to our organizations functional and security standards - Maintain and oversee the IT asset inventory, ensuring tracking, labeling, and documentation - Provide support and troubleshoot mobile devices and linked applications - Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance of networking devices - Ensure stable wired and wireless network connectivity across various locations - Document all incidents, troubleshooting steps, and solutions accurately in the Help Desk ticketing system - Create and manage knowledge base articles and internal documentation for common support challenges - Monitor, service, and report Help Desk technical support requests - Travel to branch offices and organizational locations as necessary to install, support, and maintain IT and network equipment - Undertake other related tasks as assigned
