We are currently looking for a Software Engineer - Systems to join our Air Proprietary 2 Mission Systems Battlespace Picture team located in Berkeley, Missouri. This role is specifically focused on supporting our Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization. As the Software Lead Engineer for the Battlespace Picture team, I will oversee the software initiatives while ensuring that we meet all technical requirements and uphold processes and procedures. My responsibilities include communicating priorities, tracking progress metrics, driving daily execution, and managing software defects. Collaboration with various Mission Systems software development teams, hardware IPTs, and integration teams is also a key aspect of this role. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a solid commitment to maintaining the highest standards of technical excellence while ensuring that we meet project timelines and objectives. This position will require travel up to 10%. Candidates must complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process, and compensation will be based on experience and qualifications, as well as market and business factors. The anticipated salary range for this senior-level position is $141,400 - $190,900.
