Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience leading or managing software development teams.
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in developing and debugging software using high-level programming languages, particularly C and C++.
- A minimum of 5 years in estimating costs and creating schedules that align with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
- At least 5 years of experience in analyzing performance data and creating metrics to monitor business or program health.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile development environments, along with experience in Agile leadership roles (such as Project Manager, Product Owner, or Scrum Master).
Responsibilities
- Assist the Software Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead in overseeing and guiding the software team to ensure clear task execution, technical excellence, and on-time delivery.
- Develop and maintain management systems to oversee scope, cost, schedule, and performance; implement timely corrective measures to meet program goals.
- Provide high-level technical leadership for assigned software disciplines, assess and adopt innovative technologies, and set long-term technical objectives.
- Serve as a hands-on technical resource, resolving complex engineering challenges, ensuring the implementation of best practices, and guiding architectural and implementation decisions.
- Act as a liaison between the software team and stakeholders (including management, clients, and cross-functional teams) to maintain alignment and transparency.
- Keep management updated on progress, risks, and results by ensuring clear communication channels are established.
- Monitor team productivity and performance metrics; offer constructive feedback and coaching to enhance efficiency.
- Identify and implement mitigation strategies to address technical, schedule, and cost-related risks.
