Must:
- I require candidates to have a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related technical field. Depending on your experience, I have tailored specific qualifications:
- For Individual Contributor 3 (IC-3): a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience or a Master’s with 3 years.
- For Individual Contributor 4 (IC-4): a Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of experience or a Master’s with 7 years.
- For Individual Contributor 5 (IC-5): a Bachelor’s degree with 14 years of experience or a Master’s with 12 years.
- Additionally, I expect at least 3 years of experience in product security analysis, risk assessment, or vulnerability management.
- You will need to obtain a CompTIA Security, CISSP certification, or an equivalent Cybersecurity certification within 6 months of joining.
Responsibilities
- In this role, I need you to engage in various activities, such as:
- Assisting in the development and enhancement of product security requirements and architectures to align with certification and customer needs.
- Performing product security risk assessments, attack surface analyses, and vulnerability evaluations for embedded and IT systems.
- Supporting security audits and assessments of applications, components, and subsystems integrated into our products and services.
- Collaborating with governments, customers, suppliers, and industry partners to identify risks and enhance security standards and compliance.
- Analyzing and responding to product security incidents while identifying attack indicators and escalating suspected breaches.
- Conducting trend analysis and aiding in the formation of detection and mitigation capabilities against evolving threats.
- Preparing and delivering technical reports and presentations tailored to technical teams and senior leadership.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to weave security practices throughout the product lifecycle for a comprehensive approach to security.
- Keeping abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to enhance our security posture continuously.
- Supporting research and development initiatives that lead to innovative solutions aimed at bolstering product security.
- Expect occasional travel to other Boeing locations within the U.S. (approximately 10% time commitment).
