Requirements
Must:

Responsibilities
- I design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software integrated into embedded devices and systems that adhere to industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards.
- I review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into software product designs for embedded devices and systems.
- I build and create code for embedded systems software tailored for specific specialized hardware and integrate this software with hardware components.
- I assess, monitor, and enhance the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems.
- I conduct testing and debugging for software related to embedded devices and systems.
- I implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes pertinent to software development and hardware technologies.
- I provide guidance on software and hardware integration domains and track and evaluate both internal and supplier software team performance to ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards.
- I perform project management functions related to embedded software.

We are currently seeking Missions Systems Software Engineers – Embedded to join our Mission Systems Software team in Berkeley, Missouri, hiring at various levels: Associate, Experienced, and Senior. This position demands software engineers who are capable of working within a collaborative integrated product team to implement features for safety-critical and/or mission-critical flight software. You'll gain experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements decomposition to architecture definition, algorithm development, testing (including Hardware in the Loop), and documentation. Our engineers will develop software utilizing a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline, emphasizing code quality, security, and automation.
