Requirements
Must:
- I require a minimum of 2 years of experience in programming with languages such as Go, Java, C/C++, Rust, or Python.
- I expect experience in systems integration along with knowledge of systems engineering processes and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, team collaboration abilities, technical expertise, and integration capabilities are essential.
- For preferred qualifications, having 5 or more years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience is desirable.
- I would find it favorable if you hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
- Additionally, familiarity with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) software build pipeline techniques and software factories like DevOps and DevSecOps would be beneficial.
- Experience or familiarity with embedded systems software and tools such as Linux, VxWorks, and Git is a plus.
Responsibilities
- I am looking for you to design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software that integrates into embedded devices and systems, ensuring it meets industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards.
- You will review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into software design for embedded devices and systems.
- Writing code for embedded systems software that runs on specific hardware will be part of your duties.
- I need you to integrate embedded software with hardware components effectively.
- Additionally, monitoring, analyzing, and enhancing the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems will be crucial.
- Testing and debugging software for embedded devices and systems is essential.
- You should implement current and emerging technologies, frameworks, and regulatory changes relevant to software and hardware development.
- Advising on software and hardware integration domains and tracking internal and supplier software team performance for compliance with industry standards is also expected.
- Project management functions related to embedded software will be part of your responsibilities.
