Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software architecture, specifically concentrating on cloud-based solutions and DevOps methodologies.
- At least 5 years of demonstrated expertise in automated provisioning and configuring of software-defined infrastructure with a design focus on continuous deployment and operations.
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- A minimum of 5 years of familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab and Jenkins, alongside automation frameworks and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- 7 years of experience in programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, or Python.
- 5 years of familiarity with Agile Software Development practices.
Responsibilities
- I will lead the deployment and configuration of the technological tools and technologies utilized in software development, including build servers, version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- I will manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructures using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, as well as on-premises setups.
- I will establish and uphold Infrastructure as Code (IaC), utilizing Ansible and other scripts to streamline infrastructure administration and software deployment.
- I will create and maintain development and production environments, ensuring the deployment of application devices.
- I will establish best practices and methodologies for provisioning, scaling platforms, configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- I will provide delivery teams with information to set and achieve service level indicators, objectives, service level agreements, key performance indicators, and error budgets.
- I will oversee the administration, maintenance, version upgrades, patch management, and integration of software development tools such as Jira, Gitlab, Artifactory, Confluence, and SonarQube.
- I will define, collect, analyze, and refine Key Performance Indicators and metrics pertaining to software delivery and team execution.
- I will lead demonstrations, monitor progress, and communicate status updates to customers and management.
- I will implement process improvement strategies, mentor junior team members, and guide development teams on DevSecOps best practices, fostering a culture of shared knowledge and continuous learning.
- I will drive solutions aimed at addressing the challenge of operationally delivering higher-quality software systems more frequently.
