Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in software architecture, with a strong emphasis on DevOps practices and digital transformation.
- At least 5 years of experience leading successful digital transformation initiatives within large organizations, particularly those transitioning from legacy systems.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software architecture focused on cloud-based solutions and DevOps methodologies.
- A decade of experience in leading software teams and/or projects.
- At least 5 years of experience with automated provisioning and configuring of software-defined infrastructure, as well as designing for continuous deployment and continuous operations.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Gitlab, Jenkins) and practices, automation frameworks, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
Responsibilities
- I will define and deliver a clear vision for the digital transformation initiative, with a strong emphasis on the adoption of DevOps practices.
- I will develop a strategic roadmap that aligns with organizational objectives and facilitates the shift from legacy systems to contemporary development practices.
- I will present and advocate for the transformation vision to program senior leadership, ensuring alignment and securing agreement from key stakeholders.
- I will lead the migration of applications and services to cloud technologies, prioritizing scalability, security, and performance.
- I will establish cloud architecture strategies that align with the overall objectives of the digital transformation and aid in moving from on-premises to cloud-based solutions.
- I will act as a change agent, inspiring teams and individuals to adopt new processes, tools, and cultural changes connected with DevOps.
- I will oversee the design and implementation of DevOps best practices, which include continuous integration, continuous delivery, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- I will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective adoption of new methodologies and technologies.
- I will identify critical technical skills gaps within the organization that may obstruct the successful implementation of DevOps practices and work closely with leadership to develop hiring strategies and training programs to acquire the requisite talent and skills.
- I will provide mentorship and guidance to team members, nurturing a culture centered on continuous improvement and learning.
- I will facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance the team's comprehension of DevOps principles and practices.
- I will utilize industrial engineering principles to assess existing systems and processes, pinpointing areas for optimization and waste reduction to enhance overall efficiency.
- I will define, collect, analyze, and refine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics for software delivery and team performance to ensure ongoing improvement and accountability.

Additionally, this role requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, for which U.S. Citizenship is mandated. We also do not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. This position is designated for the first shift.
