Requirements
Must:
- Typically 4 - 6 years of professional experience in IT or a business environment and/or a B.S./B.A. in computer science, engineering, information systems, math or business.
- Strong experience with the Siebel platform, support experience, Windows server expertise, Linux server knowledge, and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with remote system connections.
- Experience in supporting applications running within various environments.
- Understanding of IT operational processes to ensure effective service delivery, including monitoring, logging, and alerting standards.
- Technical and business functional knowledge obtained through training or work experience.
- Proficient in technical tools, timing, and dependencies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- In-depth influence and data-driven decision-making skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage critical systems to ensure business service levels are achieved 24/7.
- Facilitate service restoration of infrastructure, applications, and security while adhering to service level agreements.
- Provide Help/Service Desk support and coordinate Incident Management.
- Engage third-party providers during incidents and manage deployment of changes to the production environment.
- Conduct testing cycles to verify deployment capability and operability of infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to create solutions that use enterprise monitoring and self-healing capabilities.
- Analyze data to deliver insights and strategic recommendations.
- Conduct incident recovery efforts and root cause analysis.
- Handle manual code deployments to production environments.
- Perform end-to-end technology support for computing, applications, networks, and storage issues.
- Promote new processes and systems that enhance operational capabilities.
- Identify and implement operational improvements for consistent delivery to customers and business partners.
- Assist users with application and technical needs through inbound call support.
- Stay updated on industry trends to promote technical development and coaching opportunities.
