Requirements
Must:
- Typically 5+ years of experience in web technologies, IT, or a business setting, and/or a B.S./B.A. in computer science, engineering, information systems, mathematics, or business
- Extensive experience with Java and web backend development
- At least 3+ years of direct experience with AWS cloud environment (ECR, ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, S3, IAM roles, Redis Cache, security aspects)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, MQ/Kafka, SQL databases
- Proficiency in DevOps practices
- Experience with Junit and Jasmine testing frameworks
- Background in large software system development
- Advanced understanding of domain knowledge
- Acquired knowledge of software development practices and technology through formal education or practical experience
- Comprehension of the technical and business environment along with processes
- Grasp of functional aspects and technical workings of the underlying operating system and development practices
- Acquainted with the ecosystem that the code operates in
- Technical skills obtained through education and/or professional experience
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- In-depth collaboration and teamwork skills
- Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient influencing skills
- Competence in data-driven decision making
Responsibilities
- Design and create scalable and accessible cloud applications
- Develop, enhance, test, debug, and maintain cloud applications while supporting cloud-based business process designs
- Implement and configure solutions that address real business challenges through cloud technology
- Manage cloud application infrastructure and workflows adhering to best practices and cloud architecture
- Support performance enhancement strategies for existing cloud technologies
- Understand and leverage specific cloud resources, services, architectures, and service-level agreements to build scalable software products
- Establish a robust development environment and continuous integration pipeline while applying modern application patterns for code efficiency
- Translate user requirements into technical specifications, addressing complex technical needs
- Operate independently and manage routine and non-routine scenarios effectively
- Undertake broader responsibilities as needed
- Make informed decisions that safeguard the organization while aligning with our Risk Management Framework and business strategies
