Requirements

Must:
- 7+ years of experience as a Solution Architect in a large-scale banking environment - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with: - Internet-facing applications - Web technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, CSS, content management systems - Mobile applications for iOS and Android, especially hybrid apps - Application security controls for internet-facing products - Cloud technologies like AWS - Industry-standard protocols including OAuth, OIDC, SAML, JWT - Mainframe systems - API design, API gateways, Swagger, Spring Boot, Java, Node.js - Comprehensive enterprise solutions from front end to backend services - Various communication protocols - Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture, databases, and data modeling - Extensive experience in real-time and batch interface designs and implementations - In-depth knowledge of the TOGAF framework - Proficient in designing and implementing microservices - Expertise in SOAP/XML and RESTful/JSON schema design - Solid experience with relational database structure and design - Familiarity with security concepts including authorization and single sign-on - Ability to design and scale applications effectively - Knowledge of design patterns and architectural patterns - Agile methodology experience - Strategic insight into middleware technologies, CI/CD, testing methodologies, systems management, and enterprise data layers - Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex challenges - Expert in designing sophisticated systems, conducting requirement analysis, and technology selection - Advanced verbal and written communication skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Collaborative skills with a focus on cross-team collaboration - Ability to manage ambiguity in projects - Expertise in data-driven decision-making

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain a visionary IT architecture roadmap aligned with business objectives - Lead and facilitate the design and implementation of consistent technical solutions and processes - Define and document clear architectural principles, standards, and guidelines for technology use - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to explore architectural possibilities and future strategies - Partner with business and development teams to suggest enhancements or improvements to existing systems - Ensure systems are technically robust, functionally appropriate, and well-integrated - Respond promptly to critical production issues and coordinate recovery measures - Act as a trusted advisor by providing strategic input into business decisions - Lead the design of technology projects and applications while reviewing technical deliverables - Develop and suggest productivity tools to expedite solution delivery - Manage and create essential architecture assets within your designated scope - Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology solutions and guide stakeholders in sound decision-making - Participate in system requirement reviews ensuring they meet software architecture standards - Research and evaluate new technologies, conducting proofs of concept when necessary - Contribute to business case preparation and capability development within the technology organization - Stay updated on industry trends through professional associations and learning opportunities - Provide architectural knowledge and insights to senior leadership - Operate at an enterprise-wide level, serving as a resource to senior leaders and stakeholders - Utilize creative problem-solving to navigate complex and unique challenges - Implement necessary changes in response to evolving trends - Accept additional responsibilities as required
