Requirements
Must:
- Typically 4-7 years of experience in an IT or business environment and/or a BS/BA or MBA/MS in computer science, engineering, information systems, mathematics, or business.
- Demonstrated expertise in quality assurance and test automation.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, including diagnosing and identifying issues during testing.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain automated testing scripts for various applications.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to comprehend product specifications and devise testing strategies.
- Perform automated testing and evaluate findings to detect defects and uphold product quality.
- Create and maintain test automation frameworks and tools.
- Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance test coverage and quality.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in automated testing scripts and environments.
- Continuously refine testing procedures and methodologies to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
- Document test cases and results, while providing regular updates on test coverage and quality metrics.
- Support the implementation of strategic initiatives in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
- Cultivate effective relationships with both internal and external parties.
- Analyze data to break down complex problems and offer insights and recommendations.
- Lead initiatives, managing resources and resolving challenges as necessary.
