Requirements
Must:
- A bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7-10 years of experience in developing and implementing security architectures and/or engineering with extensive exposure across cloud, data, and AI security domains
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, or any Cloud Security Specialty certification (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate)
- Preferred certifications or demonstrable knowledge in AI security (e.g., CDAI, CompTIA AI+, or equivalent vendor-specific AI security training) or data security (e.g., CDPSE, CIPP)
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture, operations, identity and access management, security automation, and orchestration
- In-depth knowledge of cloud-native security solutions and tools (e.g., AWS Security Hub, AWS GuardDuty, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel)
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks including CSA CCM, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, and NIST CSF
- Practical knowledge of AI/ML development frameworks and platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, SageMaker, Azure ML) along with associated security risks
- Experience implementing data loss prevention (DLP), data classification, and data access governance solutions in enterprise environments
- Proficiency with networking protocols and operations; comfortable with packet analysis tools such as Wireshark, Burp Suite, nmap, Nessus, and Metasploit
- Strong programming abilities in languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Node.js and experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security scanning tools
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, design, implement, automate, and document security solutions and controls for AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
- Create and uphold security patterns for cloud services, ensuring alignment with best security practices
- Establish and implement security baseline controls for Cloud Services integrated into CI/CD processes
- Develop and deliver policies as code to automate security controls and best practices
- Review and sanction code changes that have security implications (e.g., IAM Roles and Policies, Security Groups)
- Act as the cloud security expert for the Cloud Engineering team and its partners in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS implementations
- Define and implement a security framework for AI/ML systems, covering the entire model lifecycle
- Assess and mitigate AI-specific threats such as adversarial attacks, data poisoning, and model theft
- Collaborate with data science and AI engineering teams to embed security controls in MLOps pipelines
- Monitor emerging AI threats and regulations, translating them into actionable organizational controls
- Implement and manage data security posture management tools for continuous monitoring of sensitive data
- Establish security controls for structured and unstructured data across various storage platforms
- Encourage data-centric security practices within development and analytics teams
- Offer expertise on architecture and systems security based on a comprehensive understanding of engineering stacks and data flows
- Lead continuous cybersecurity risk assessments on technologies, including AI/ML systems, to identify risks and necessary controls
- Provide cybersecurity guidance in major projects to enable secure innovation
- Assist in resolving security incidents, including those involving AI model compromises or data breaches
- Collaborate with Information Security, product, and development teams to assess cybersecurity risks and recommend solutions
