Requirements
Must:
- 3-6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong expertise in Azure Cloud, including core services, identity, networking, compute, and governance.
- Familiarity with AWS is advantageous but not essential.
- Proficient in at least one programming language:
- TypeScript or Node.js preferred
- Python is also acceptable
- Experience with containerization (Docker); familiarity with Kubernetes/AKS is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi, or CDK.
- Proven experience in building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Azure platform components, including Infrastructure as Code modules, templates, guardrails, and deployment workflows.
- Collaborate with the Senior Principal Engineer to create a self-service cloud platform that speeds up product team delivery.
- Set up deployment or release pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Create high-quality, reusable modules with tools like Terraform, Bicep, CDK, or other Infrastructure as Code solutions.
- Contribute to container workflows using Docker and support workloads on Kubernetes/AKS.
- Work closely with application teams to assist with onboarding, troubleshooting, and automating workload provisioning.
- Continuously enhance platform reliability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance frameworks.
