Requirements
Must:
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud design patterns, cloud-native principles, cloud operations, and security models
- Proficient programming skills with fluency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Solid knowledge and proven experience in establishing, securing, and managing public cloud infrastructures
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud provisioning, administration, interoperability, disaster recovery, business continuity strategies, and performance monitoring in cloud environments
- Skilled in cloud automation via AWS CLI, Azure CLI, CDK, CloudFormation, ARM, or Terraform
- Hands-on familiarity with system configuration and DevOps tools including Ansible, Bitbucket, Git, Jira, and Confluence
- Experience managing containerized applications and infrastructure at scale
- Practical knowledge of Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), AWS Fargate, and Elastic Container Service (ECS)
- Experience utilizing Lambda, API Gateway, Kinesis Data Streams, SNS, SQS, or DynamoDB
- Capability to engage in fast-paced DevOps and System Engineering teams while following Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with AI concepts, generative AI, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI-enhanced tools within the software development lifecycle
Responsibilities
- Design and implement BMOs Cloud Platform, including core and shared services
- Create cohesive design patterns for secure cloud application environments, enhance cloud platforms, and integrate data services
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop Cloud migration and transformation strategies and infrastructure roadmaps across various landscapes
- Establish patterns for automated provisioning, management, scalability, and security
- Ensure all cloud solutions adhere to our defined security and compliance standards
- Plan and design enterprise-scale cloud environments, considering application dependencies, data storage flows, network connectivity, and hosting solutions
- Design, implement, and secure cloud IaaS, PaaS, and higher-level services within AWS
- Maintain up-to-date architectural templates and create operational documentation for the technical environment
- Work closely with Engineering, DevOps, and CIO teams to create service catalogs
- Continuously improve the capabilities, security, and user experience of the enterprise cloud
