Requirements
Must:
- 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in IT, with appropriate education and/or certifications
- Practical experience in ETL/ELT development/testing and data warehousing principles
- Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, Python, Spark, and Scala
- Familiarity with SSIS, Glue, cloud storage and computing services (e.g. AWS, Azure), Hadoop, and Netezza
- Experience handling structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets in both batch and streaming contexts
- Expertise in data analysis, mapping, and profiling
- Understanding of AI concepts, including GenAI, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI-integrated tools in the software development lifecycle
- Experience in Agile project delivery, including the use of JIRA
- (Nice to have) Background in a large enterprise environment
- (Nice to have) Ability to engage with senior leadership
- (Nice to have) Experience in highly regulated sectors
Responsibilities
- Direct the planning, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and support of data and AI solutions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business needs into data and AI products
- Provide guidance on technical designs while ensuring they align with standards and strategic roadmaps
- Identify, monitor, and execute regression testing for issues identified
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving processes to enhance our delivery and deployment capabilities
- Expedite development through the creation of frameworks, automation scripts, and reusable code
- Enhance development capabilities by mentoring peers, sharing knowledge, and fostering communities of practice
