Requirements
Must:
- Extensive understanding of cloud design patterns, Cloud Native Architecture, cloud operations, and security models
- 4-5 years of practical experience in configuring secure and scalable cloud platforms on AWS and/or Azure
- Comprehensive knowledge of cloud services including application integration, cloud databases, data warehousing, analytics, machine learning, and security management
- Proven track record in architecting and implementing high-volume, highly available cloud applications with a strong emphasis on automation
- Ability to convey abstract and concrete concepts effectively to diverse audiences
- Strategic mindset with an enterprise-wide perspective while delivering practical, business-driven IT solutions
- Quick comprehension of organizational dynamics and management priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration abilities
- Experience leading workshops and meetings focused on cloud compliance and security
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and their architecture components such as:
- Understanding of CDK & TypeScript, Python
- Experience with data-related technologies and AI/ML workflows
- Proficiency in AWS SageMaker Studio, Docker, and Containers
- Knowledge of visualization tools like AWS QuickSight and Power BI reporting
- Familiarity with Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, and other Azure services is a plus
- Experience with RDS, Redshift, DocumentDB, Glue, Managed Airflow, and other data solutions
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of secure cloud application environments and cloud platform enhancements
- Perform technical audits of existing architectures, focusing on infrastructure performance and data security
- Architect and deploy cloud solutions tailored for diverse application architectures and service-oriented delivery
- Evaluate application designs for cloud optimization and automate deployment processes for efficiency
- Collaborate with business units to develop scalable, high-availability application solutions using cloud services
- Provide technical advice to business lines on refactoring applications for cloud deployment utilizing modern development practices
- Work with stakeholders to shape Cloud migration strategies and infrastructure roadmaps across multiple domains
- Identify gaps in Cloud Infrastructure architecture, propose new technologies, and initiate pilot projects for evaluation
- Document best practices, recommendations, and maintain design templates
- Facilitate meetings with subject matter experts to gather input and coordinate project timelines and resource requirements
- Engage with external vendors to explore new solutions and product offerings

In this role, you will drive critical business and technology cloud initiatives as we pursue our 3 to 5-year cloud technology roadmap. Youll lead the architecture and development of comprehensive cloud-based solutions while championing a DevOps culture in a dynamic environment. With a competitive salary ranging from $94,600 to $176,000, our total compensation package includes performance-based incentives, health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and retirement plans.
