Requirements
Must:
- We have 5-7 years of hands-on experience designing and configuring secure, scalable cloud applications on AWS, preferably in a banking environment.
- We bring deep knowledge of cloud design patterns, cloud-native architecture, cloud operations, and security frameworks.
- We have strong expertise across cloud services, including application development, integration, functions, cloud databases, data warehousing and analytics, machine learning, developer tooling, and identity and access management.
- We have proven experience architecting and delivering high-volume, highly available cloud solutions with a strong emphasis on automation.
- We can think both strategically and tactically, balancing long-term enterprise direction with practical business and technology outcomes.
- We communicate complex technical ideas clearly to varied audiences and can facilitate workshops and client discussions on discovery, compliance, and security.
- We have strong programming skills in API and webhook development using TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and shell scripting.
- We hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or bring equivalent industry experience.
- We demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, analytics, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- We are self-motivated, able to work independently or collaboratively, and skilled at managing multiple priorities and timelines.
Responsibilities
- We design secure cloud application patterns and full-stack solutions for digital banking, including application architecture, data services, and cloud integrations.
- We architect and implement cloud solutions across application, data, and infrastructure layers, including programmatic integration of cloud-based services.
- We develop data architecture models that support effective service-oriented delivery.
- We review solution designs for cloud readiness and optimize deployment approaches for repeatability and reuse.
- We advise business lines on refactoring applications for the cloud using 12-factor and cloud-native, microservices-based practices.
- We partner with stakeholders to shape cloud migration and transformation strategies, along with infrastructure roadmaps across business, information, and technology domains.
- We document standards, recommendations, and reusable templates that support consistent delivery.
- We coordinate planning sessions with subject matter experts from infrastructure, operations, applications, vendors, and leadership to align on migration scope, resources, and timelines.
- We engage with external vendors to assess solutions, capabilities, and service offerings.
- We promote a DevOps culture and help advance Infrastructure-as-Code and Infrastructure-as-a-Service practices in a fast-moving environment.
- We contribute ideas, guidance, and technical expertise to strengthen an already high-performing cloud implementation team.
- We lead in-depth workshops and client meetings covering discovery, cloud compliance, and security topics.
