Mainframe z/OS Systems Programmer

- Develop and execute IT mainframe infrastructure and platform strategies to meet business objectives and promote growth. - Design, construct, install, test, maintain, monitor, and enhance mainframe infrastructure. - Oversee the current and future technical platform hardware, operating systems, security measures, and systems services layers. - Ensure dependable and secure computing and communication frameworks for business software to operate efficiently. - Aid in disaster recovery procedures and expeditiously resolve network and connectivity issues to reduce disruptions. - Collaborate with stakeholders to propose infrastructure solutions aligned with engineering needs. - Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate strategic initiatives. - Conduct independent analyses and evaluations to tackle strategic challenges. - Deconstruct strategic issues, examine data, and offer insights and recommendations. - Guarantee that infrastructure solutions are scalable, adaptable, supportable, fully monitored, and standardized. - Identify opportunities to enhance the technology organization by sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and fostering communities of practice. - Remain informed of industry trends through professional initiatives, practice communities, and ongoing personal development. - Utilize sound judgment to identify, diagnose, and resolve challenges within established guidelines. - Work autonomously on a variety of complex assignments, including unique scenarios. - Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
