Requirements
Must:
- Strong teamwork skills in a collaborative environment with open communication and fluid team interactions.
- Enthusiasm for Big Data and keeping up with industry trends; we promote continuous learning.
- Self-motivated with minimal oversight, capable of driving projects to completion.
- Proficient in Python, Spark, and SQL.
- Experience in constructing big data pipelines, architectures, and datasets.
- Familiarity with Amazon AWS and other cloud platforms.
- Practical experience with Databricks.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Travis, GitHub).
- Background in ETL and Data Modeling is preferred.
- Ability to create data visualizations/reports/dashboards using BI tools.
- Experience in designing and implementing streaming applications is advantageous.
- Comprehensive understanding of standard architecture methodologies, processes, and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Expand and enhance the AIR MILES Cloud analytical platform for data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to assimilate real-time feedback.
- Implement an agile methodology by developing story cards on a daily basis.
- Optimize data and data pipeline architecture for security, scalability, and efficiency.
- Manage data flows and collection for cross-functional teams utilizing diverse data sets.
