Requirements

Must:
- Typically 10 years of experience in Application Architecture with a BS/BA or MBA/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Enterprise Architect role, demonstrating a wide range of technology exposure. - Experience in modernizing technology stacks, particularly transitioning to cloud AWS. - Proficient knowledge of cloud technologies, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Management tools. - Familiarity with Archimate tools. - In-depth understanding of computer or network system hardware, software theory, concepts, and technology that align with organizational objectives. - Business acumen to assess the impact of technological applications on customer processes. - Comprehensive understanding of the strategic technical components: middleware, CI/CD, testing, systems management, enterprise data & access layers, and relevant computing paradigms. - Proven problem-solving capabilities for complex difficulties. - Expertise in the techniques required for designing complicated systems, including requirements analysis, solution context formulation, and technology selection. - Experienced professional with a blend of education, industry knowledge, and experience. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. - Expert analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong influence skills. - Proficient collaboration and teamwork attributes, particularly in cross-group interactions. - Capability to manage uncertainty. - Strong background in data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

- Develop a visionary IT architecture roadmap and organizational strategy to align business needs with technology. - Lead and facilitate the design and execution of reusable technical solutions and processes tied to technology architecture. - Define and document effective architectural principles, standards, and guidelines for the usage and implementation of business applications and data within the organization. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to outline architectural opportunities and future directions. - Work with business and development teams to recommend enhancements to processes or system designs. - Ensure systems are functionally appropriate, technically robust, and well-integrated. - Respond promptly to critical production-wide issues to assess solutions, coordinate recovery efforts, and ensure resolution. - Offer strategic insights into business decisions as a trusted advisor. - Provide architectural guidance and recommendations and conduct departmental presentations. - Serve as the primary subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders. - Review and provide feedback on technical work. - Manage key architecture assets pertinent to the designated portfolio and business scope. - Ensure a sound architecture to facilitate the effective execution of solutions that avert detrimental impacts on enterprise technology and budgets. - Identify risks or issues within technology solutions that may hinder project benefits, advising and supporting stakeholders in proactive decision-making to mitigate delays or risks. - Investigate relevant technologies, conduct proofs of concept/prototypes, and advocate for their application in future product architectures. - Seek opportunities to enhance the capabilities of the technology organization through mentoring, sharing expertise, and building communities of practice. - Remain updated on industry trends through participation in professional associations and continuous learning. - Provide architectural expertise and domain knowledge to guide senior leaders. - Operate at an enterprise level, acting as a specialist resource for senior leaders and stakeholders. - Employ creativity and expertise to resolve complex or unique situations and find innovative solutions to non-routine problems. - Implement changes in response to evolving trends. - Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
