Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete software development lifecycle, collaborating with functional teams to convert requirements into features
- Manage development teams and processes
- Conduct software testing and maintain applications
- Translate user needs into technical specifications by understanding and facilitating user requirements
- Analyze, develop, test, and implement new software programs and document the entire software development process
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot, and rectify faults in core software components
- Ensure adherence to security, logging, error handling, performance standards, and non-functional requirements
- Assess new technologies for compatibility with existing systems and their effects on processes, data, and risk
- Follow release management processes and apply version control
- Assist in interpreting and documenting client requirements
- Primarily focus on our business/group with potential for broader enterprise-wide engagement
- Use judgment to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues within established guidelines
- Work independently on a variety of complex tasks, potentially involving unique situations
- Perform additional duties or accountabilities as assigned
