Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years in software development with an emphasis on data-intensive applications
- Proficiency in various programming languages including JavaScript, Python, and C#
- In-depth web development experience along with a solid understanding of UX design principles
- Familiarity with APIs, microservices architecture, distributed systems, messaging queues, and cloud deployments
- Expertise in containerization and virtualization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficient with both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Git, GitLab, and Jenkins
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of equity derivatives and financial modeling
Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance applications utilizing sophisticated quantitative models and research
- Create tools, reports, and visualizations leveraging a modern technology stack including JavaScript, Python, and C#.NET
- Build and maintain distributed systems and microservices that can scale effectively
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to architect and execute reliable solutions
- Employ Kubernetes and cloud technologies for application development and deployment
- Set up monitoring and logging mechanisms using the ELK stack
