Requirements

Must:
- We are looking for 5 to 7 years of experience in AI software engineering, including at least 3 recent years focused on AI/ML engineering, AI agent development, or multi-agent systems. - We need hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and a strong track record designing, deploying, and running cloud-native solutions. - We value familiarity with Azure AI Engineer certification; Python knowledge is considered an asset. - We require a solid foundation in AI agent ecosystems and related solution patterns. - We need experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and CDK for Terraform. - We expect proven ability to implement monitoring and observability for AI and agent-based solutions, including logging, tracing, metrics, and operational alerts. - We look for a demonstrated ability to turn ambiguity into clear questions, practical requirements, and sound design decisions across multiple AI initiatives. - We prefer candidates with experience in Azure AI Foundry or similar Foundry tooling for AI enablement, governance, and tuning workflows. - We value familiarity with agent taxonomy and labeling approaches that support standardized development at scale. - We prefer experience designing enterprise platform layers such as identity, access control, and registry or source-of-truth patterns for agents. - Knowledge of the financial services industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

- We design and build dependable, scalable data ingestion and integration pipelines for structured, semi-structured, unstructured, and multi-modal data sources, such as databases, files, documents, APIs, and events. - We ensure our data pipelines are AI-ready, governed, secure, and observable. - We apply data quality, validation, monitoring, and testing frameworks in production environments. - We follow enterprise governance, access management, and security standards, including role-based access and lineage requirements. - We monitor pipeline health, investigate failures, and improve performance, cost efficiency, and throughput. - We integrate AI services such as document understanding, content understanding, embeddings, search, and LLM APIs into production data workflows. - We build and maintain ETL and ELT pipelines using cloud-native services and distributed processing frameworks. - We develop production-grade Python services and REST APIs to expose data and AI capabilities. - We work with leadership to define outcomes and vision, then translate them into execution plans, architecture choices, and delivery milestones. - We create feature engineering pipelines that support ML and GenAI use cases, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). - We own the standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks that improve consistency and quality across teams and platforms. - We collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to align data input and output requirements clearly and consistently.
