Must:
We are looking for a candidate who possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. You should have at least 7 years of experience in IT architecture, retail merchandising systems, or enterprise solution development. Proven experience in leading engineering teams and delivering complex technology solutions within a retail environment is essential. Experience with one or more solution providers like Blueyonder, Oracle, SAP, Relex, or O9 is a plus. You should have a strong understanding of merchandising solutions, including category and space management, inventory planning, pricing and promotion engines, and vendor management systems. A proficiency in cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), API integrations, and microservices architecture is also required. Furthermore, hands-on experience with retail analytics, AI-driven forecasting tools, and machine learning applications for merchandising is necessary. You must be able to translate business objectives into technology roadmaps and actionable implementation plans. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and influence decision-making, are crucial.
Responsibilities
As the Retail Engineering Manager - MerchTech Products, you will lead the merchandising engineering team and provide technical direction and mentorship while fostering a culture of innovation. You will develop and execute strategic technology plans that align with retail merchandising and product goals. In collaboration with cross-functional teams, including ERP, Finance, IT, Data Analytics, and Supply Chain, you will enhance business capabilities through technology. Your role will also involve designing and overseeing the development of merchandising solutions, defining system architecture, and integration frameworks that support scalable and resilient merchandising applications. You will partner with vendors to evaluate and implement third-party merchandising tools, ensuring a seamless integration with our existing retail ecosystem. Additionally, you will focus on developing advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions to enhance Category Management and other aspects of our merchandising operations, while also implementing data governance and quality best practices.

We are committed to transparency in compensation, and the estimated salary range for this position starts from $125,500. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as location, education, experience, and qualifications.
