Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is also desirable, along with PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification. You should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably within the retail or shared services sector. A strong understanding of retail operations and shared services functions is preferred. You must also exhibit excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, and be proficient in project management tools (such as MS Project, JIRA, or Asana) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall). The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Alteryx or statistical software (such as Stata or R) is preferred.
Responsibilities
As the Project Manager, you will support the Senior Project Manager in overseeing the project portfolio and managing overall portfolio governance. You will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines. Collaboration with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, will be key in gathering requirements, managing expectations, and providing updates on project progress. You will direct cross-functional project teams, focus on small to medium-sized initiatives, and work alongside the Senior Project Manager to manage the overall portfolio. Identifying potential risks and issues while developing mitigation strategies will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will analyze current processes to recommend improvements, manage project budgets, prepare project status reports, and provide mentorship to junior project managers and team members.
