Requirements
Must:
- An Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school.
- Six months to one year of relevant experience and/or training, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
- Entry-level technical knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10 to Windows 11 operating systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office 2021 to 2024 software.
- Understanding of MS 365 and office productivity plugins like Adobe Acrobat.
- Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, fielding all incoming calls to the Service Desk.
- Create and update service tickets, ensuring resource availability and proper scheduling.
- Coordinate the ticket process, manage deadlines, and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Schedule and reschedule service calls as necessary while collaborating with the team to meet service goals.
- Maintain communication with clients throughout the ticketing process and ensure technicians follow up with any status changes.
- Resolve conflicts and manage basic computer troubleshooting while collecting surveys, feedback, and testimonials.
- Assist in organizing the workplace with other staff members.
Description
We are BIZFORCE Technologies, a Managed Services Provider located in Huntsville, Alabama, specializing in managed IT services, computer hardware and software, network design, and security, among other solutions. We seek a Service Desk Coordinator who is eager to provide outstanding service and support to our clients while dispatching technicians and scheduling service calls. This role may evolve into a Computer Technician position for the right candidate, showcasing leadership abilities and a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have effective time management skills, be a self-starter, and possess strong communication abilities to interpret documents and share information clearly with various audiences. A preference for certifications like CompTIA A+ is advantageous. The work environment is a standard office space with moderate noise from equipment and colleagues. This is a full-time position with a pay range of $16.00 - $18.75 per hour, enhanced by benefits such as 401(k), health insurance, flexible scheduling, and professional development support.
