Requirements
Must:
- Knowledge of company operations within the natural gas sector
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (FERC, EPA, OSHA, DOT, NACE, ASME, etc.)
- Understanding of company budgetary processes for both capital and operations
- Ability to identify issues, gather data, draw conclusions, and negotiate settlements with contractors
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the capacity to build relationships
- Proven managerial experience, including direct supervision and project management
- Bachelors degree, preferably in Engineering
Responsibilities
- Leading a team of project management professionals focused on significant growth initiatives
- Emphasizing safety and environmental compliance within the project team
- Working alongside internal stakeholders to develop and adjust project estimates, including commercial and operational goals, defined scopes, milestone timelines, and cash flow
- Overseeing and managing the design and execution of engineering projects, while providing both technical and field guidance
- Collaborating with internal teams to adeptly manage project timelines and forecasts, while communicating progress to executive leadership
- Ensuring compliance of design and construction processes with relevant company standards and industry best practices
- Directing start-up procedures and providing analysis on performance and financial outcomes post-project
- Assisting in the investigation and resolution of engineering or technical challenges
- Negotiating and approving project-related agreements and contracts
