Requirements
Must:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Strong experience in backend development using Java, TypeScript, or Python.
- Proven ability to develop reactive, component-based frontend applications using the Angular framework.
- Expertise in data modeling, schema design, SQL, and query optimization for both relational and non-relational databases, such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
- Proficient with Git-based workflows and familiar with CI/CD tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation.
- Extensive experience architecting and deploying cloud-native solutions on AWS while adhering to best practices for scalability, availability, and security.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar Gen AI tools for code generation and reviews during various development lifecycle stages.
- Experience with AWS Bedrock models for implementing Gen AI agents is an advantage.
- Domain knowledge in Mortgage Banking, Bond Markets, or other financial sectors related to trading desk activities and financial risk analytics is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of key mortgage trading financial instruments such as Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS), Mortgage Loans, Debt instruments, and Derivatives.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Professional certifications preferred.
- Over 10 years of software development experience in relevant platforms.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-complexity analysis, design, development, and unit testing for software applications based on user requirements and design documents.
- Identify and resolve defects encountered during various testing phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Mentor junior developers and offer technical guidance as necessary.
- Continuously improve and optimize existing systems and applications.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to standards.
- Implement cloud-native architectures and solutions based on best practices.
