Requirements
Must:
- 3 years of experience in IT production support or related field
- Familiarity with Splunk, Dynatrace, SiteScope, Tivoli Netcool/Web GUI
- Proficient in Java Virtual Machine and Windows environments
- Basic knowledge of ITIL/ITSM practices
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a complex environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- ITIL Foundation/Intermediary certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Utilize monitoring tools to proactively detect and investigate potential production incidents
- Respond to alerts related to potential production incidents promptly
- Escalate issues to advanced support teams when necessary
- Conduct trending analysis using monitoring tools and reports to identify potential issues before they affect production
- Manage environment routines, including cycling and implementing splash pages
- Collaborate with Change Operations to facilitate Change implementations and identify potential issues
- Identify opportunities for enhancing monitoring and automation and work with Monitoring Architecture for implementation
- Create procedures for troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Execute procedures reliably and escalate as needed for quick incident resolution
- Work effectively in a multicultural team environment
- Maintain a proactive, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented approach
