Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- I have over 8 years of experience in the development of avionics or electronic embedded controls.
- I possess experience in leading the architecture, design, and integration of electronic control systems, including hardware, software, and programmable logic devices.
- I have engaged in the entire product lifecycle encompassing requirements, design, integration, validation, and verification processes.
- I am skilled at performing threat assessments on embedded controls.
- I have strong technical writing capabilities, enabling me to produce necessary engineering documentation.
Responsibilities
In my role as a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer, I am responsible for ensuring the successful technical execution of development and providing essential input to Systems Engineering discipline processes to support Controls and Avionics Solutions. I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of our products and systems. I contribute as a Systems Engineer by:
- Preparing and reviewing documentation for system designs and architectures that align with established systems development methodologies and protocols.
- Verifying and validating moderately complex elements of systems designs to ensure compliance with functional specifications and customer needs.
- Designing product security features into real-time safety-critical embedded control systems.
- Breaking down customer product security requirements into feature-set capability requirements distributed to hardware, programmable logic devices, software, and support engineering teams.
- Participating in threat and vulnerability assessments applying designated guidelines to identify necessary security measures to reduce security risks.
- Conducting system and product integration activities.
