Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Capability to Obtain and Maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- Proven experience in leading Software Engineering teams
- Strong proficiency in C/C++
- Familiarity with real-time embedded programming (preferred)
- Experience managing cost and scheduling of software projects (preferred)
- Background in Agile Development (preferred)
- Experience in designing and/or implementing software algorithms (preferred)
- Knowledge of software engineering processes, methodologies, and tools (preferred)
- Experience with software testing, validation, and verification activities (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and guide technical teams (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of complex software architecture and designs for various projects
- Implement established management systems and provide leadership to ensure effective work performance, closely monitor costs and schedules, and take timely corrective actions
- Maintain open communication channels to keep management updated on function progress and outcomes
- Evolve existing processes and incorporate new techniques to assure optimal design and product costs
- Provide high-level technical leadership for assigned design disciplines, selecting and exploiting promising new technologies and establishing long-term goals
- Ensure effective collaboration between assigned engineers and other participants in the design process
- Engage in a hybrid work format, balancing between onsite and remote work
