Requirements
Must:
- SECRET Clearance is a must for this role
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or a degree and 2 years of experience
- IAM Level I certification according to DoD 8570.1M requirements (or the capability to obtain this certification within 6 months)
- High level of self-motivation and willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic security environment
- Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills
- Capable of working independently with limited supervision
- Exceptional organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate with other IA team members and security personnel from different disciplines (industrial, physical, special programs security, etc.)
- Basic understanding of simple networks, operating systems, and computer functionalities
- Coursework in a technical area (e.g., programming/scripting, systems administration, cybersecurity/information assurance, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all aspects of a thorough Risk Management Framework (RMF) program according to NISPOM/DAAPM, JSIG, ICD 503, STIGs, and related NIST publications
- Collaborate with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals for various systems by following RMF protocols
- Support cybersecurity initiatives throughout the RMF process for one or more assigned programs, including enforcing System Security Plans and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and assessing and auditing system security controls
- Participate actively in team-oriented tasks that necessitate on-site collaboration at a BAE Systems facility, adhering to a full-time in-office work model
