Requirements
Must:
- Current TS/SCI level U.S. Government Security clearance; must be a U.S. citizen.
- Over 9 years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development, with a Bachelors degree in a related discipline, or 7 years relevant experience with a Masters degree, or a High School Diploma with 13 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of AWS services including EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, and Lambda, and their applications for managing infrastructure.
- Proficient in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
- Experienced with configuration management tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Skilled in application, container, and operating system deployment and management.
- Capable of programming in multiple languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Familiar with Git, Flux, and other development and deployment tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of diagnosing and resolving complex issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledgeable in AGILE software development practices and standard software development toolsets.
- Must hold DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certification (such as Security+).
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and deployment of cloud infrastructure within AWS, focusing on EKS.
- Contribute to the deployment of non-cloud (Edge) infrastructure, including on-premise and portable equipment.
- Automate deployment workflows to ensure the reliability and scalability of our services.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of Kubernetes containers and AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Work collaboratively with development teams to integrate their applications with our infrastructure.
- Monitor production systems, addressing and resolving issues as they arise.
- Continuously seek to enhance processes and tools to maintain high availability and performance standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry developments, actively looking for innovative solutions to enrich our infrastructure.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
