Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree required.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience needed.
- Strong knowledge of Automation and Control systems, including Rockwell Plant PAX and Siemens Step 7.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for technical issues involving equipment.
- Proficiency with personal computers and basic software (e.g., MS Excel and Word).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with PLC programming and preventive maintenance.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must bring a proactive and self-starting attitude.
- Comprehensive understanding of safety protocols pertaining to equipment and machine guarding.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for troubleshooting and maintaining Automation and Control systems.
- Quickly respond to machinery downtime to minimize unscheduled stoppages.
- Identify and recommend improvements to enhance system performance.
- Modify and program PLCs according to established protocols.
- Adhere to GMP standards while executing modifications and maintenance.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures for supported systems.
- Train peers and users on system functionalities and best practices.
- Document, test, and validate systems while following GDP guidelines.
- Oversee project implementation as a Subject Matter Expert.
- Support equipment upgrades and maintain control system integrity.
- Manage medium-complexity projects independently without assistance.
