Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree required.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience necessary.
- Proficiency in Automation and Control systems including Rockwell and Siemens software.
- Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and various communication protocols.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical equipment issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to work independently and be proactive.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures relating to equipment and machine guarding.
- Occasional business travel may be necessary, with a valid drivers license and passport required.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for control systems in a GMP regulated environment.
- Quickly troubleshoot to maintain machinery uptime during unscheduled downtimes.
- Identify and implement improvements in automation and control systems.
- Program and modify PLC configurations as needed.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on control systems.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert during project implementations.
- Maintain documentation, testing, and commissioning related to systems.
- Train users and peer staff on the control systems in place.
- Support the software lifecycle management efforts.
- Oversee administrative tasks related to upgrades and maintenance of equipment.
- Manage medium-complexity projects independently without assistance.
- Supervise external consultants and contractors as necessary.
