Senior Business Analyst - Data Focused

- Oversee and improve the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for the Credit Card balance sheet and net interest income - Conduct thorough analysis of financial data, and develop financial models to track and project Credit Card balances, net interest income, and noninterest income - Ensure timely and accurate completion of all month-end financial deliverables, including accruals and variance templates - Develop presentation materials for Monthly Business Review decks and product board meetings to aid in strategic decision-making - Provide key reporting for various compliance and regulatory requirements, ensuring insightful analysis - Maintain the vintage balance model by Card product to facilitate monthly financial forecasts - Update finance unit cost views to reflect current data - Create weekly reports on new accounts for inclusion in the Weekly Loan Optimization Deck - Manage the Client account tracker to oversee available funds allocated for strategic initiatives - Summarize quarterly peer competitor data with qualitative analysis for senior leadership insights - Monitor and manage credit card financial performance metrics and KPIs - Collaborate with various departmental teams to promote financial initiatives and foster business development - Offer insights and recommendations to senior management based on detailed financial analysis - Research industry trends and assess their implications stemming from interest rate fluctuations, macroeconomic conditions, and internal changes - Analyze historical performance, conduct variance/attribution analyses, identify trends, and provide recommendations for enhancements - Present financial outcomes and projections to business unit leaders - Assist with ad hoc financial analyses and business plans to support growth initiatives
